Douglas Fraser hired as Executive Director of the Chicago Help Initiative

January, 2013. Doug Fraser has been hired as the new Executive Director of the Chicago Help Initiative. He has experience working in social service organizations, most recently as the Executive Director of Care for Real, a northside food pantry serving over 5,000 client visits a month, as well as background in local government, having spent four years as Chief of Staff to Alderman Mary Ann Smith, 48th. His previous downtown Chicago experience includes six years as the Planning Director at the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association.
